וַיְקַצֵּץ֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ אָחָ֜ז אֶת־הַמִּסְגְּר֣וֹת הַמְּכֹנ֗וֹת וַיָּ֤סַר מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶם֙ ואת־[אֶת־] הַכִּיֹּ֔ר וְאֶת־הַיָּ֣ם הוֹרִ֔ד מֵעַ֛ל הַבָּקָ֥ר הַנְּחֹ֖שֶׁת אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּחְתֶּ֑יהָ וַיִּתֵּ֣ן אֹת֔וֹ עַ֖ל מַרְצֶ֥פֶת אֲבָנִֽים׃
Também o rei Acaz cortou as almofadas das bases, e de cima delas removeu a pia; tirou o mar de sobre os bois de bronze, que estavam debaixo dele, e o colocou sobre um pavimento de pedra.
II Chronicles
And Achaz gathered the vessels of the house of G d, and he cut [(off the gold from)] the vessels of the house of G d, and he closed the doors of the house of the L rd, and he made altars for himself in every corner in Jerusalem.
